Installation Environment

SES One software must be installed on a computer running Microsoft Windows 10 or Windows 11 operating systems.

Versions

Trial Version

The SES One [Trial Version] has the following limitations:

• Requires a 30-second advertisement wait upon startup
• Generates one recording file every 30 minutes

Licensed Version

The SES One [Licensed Version] offers the following benefits:

• No advertisements during software operation
• Generates one recording file every 4 hours, meeting most class needs

Installation Interface

After downloading the SES One software, follow these steps to install:

1. Enter the SES One folder and run the SES_One_Setup(.exe) installer as an administrator.
2. Open the SES One Setup Wizard and click "Next."
3. Choose the installation folder for SES One, which defaults to C:\Program Files\BlueEyes Technology\SES_One\, and click "Next."
4. Select the SES One interface language (Traditional or Simplified Chinese), confirm, and click "Next."
5. Confirm the installation settings and click "Next" to start the installation.
6. After installation is complete, click "Close."
7. Click "OK" to finish the installation.

Running the Software

1. Click "Start," select "All Programs," and find the SES One program under BlueEyes Technology.
2. Optionally, pin SES One to the "Start" menu for quick access.
3. Click the SES One program to run it.
4. Using the SES One (Trial Version) will require a 30-second advertisement wait before accessing the interface. The paid version does not have this wait time.

Software Serial Number Activation

Upon the first startup of the program, enter the serial number to activate the professional version. After entering the serial number, click "Online Registration" to complete the activation. The program will automatically restart after registration.

User Interface

The SES One user interface is composed of the following components:

A Function Bar: Includes settings, about, language, exit
B Real-Time Video Display: Shows live video from the classroom
C Class Information Interface: Includes course information input, video storage path settings, start/end class operations, etc.

Function Bar

The function bar provides options for SES One operations:

Settings

• Camera Settings: Set camera-related information, including recording folder and camera configuration.

  • Recording Folder: Set the video storage location; the system will reload after selecting a folder.
  • Camera Settings: Configure camera IP address, username, password, model, etc.; the system will reload after saving.

• Recording Settings:

  • MKV (Default Setting): Only generates MKV format video files, suitable for post-production or merging.
  • YouTube Compatible MP4: After recording, generates an MKV file and then converts it to MP4 format; the original MKV file will be deleted.
  • MKV & YouTube Compatible MP4: Simultaneously generates both MKV and MP4 format video files for user choice.

• System Parameter Settings: Set HTTP/RTSP connection video/audio packet timeout seconds (recommended to modify only under special needs).

• Import MKV -> YTMP4: Licensed versions can import MKV files for conversion to YouTube compatible MP4 videos.

Language

You can switch the interface language between Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese.

Exit

Click "Exit" to close the program; the system will ask for confirmation. Click "Yes" to close.

Real-Time Video Display

Displays live video from the classroom, allowing you to confirm class status and recording conditions. The bottom of the screen shows camera connection status and resolution, for example: Connected [1920x1080].

Class Information Interface

Includes course, unit, teacher, class, storage path, sound on/off, start class, end class, PTZ control, and UL automatic upload information.

• Storage Path: Choose the video storage location; the system will reload after saving.
• Sound On/Off: You can set to turn sound on or off.
• PTZ: Open the camera PTZ control panel (if the camera supports PTZ functions).
• UL Automatic Upload: Enabling this feature will automatically upload recorded videos to the LOL Learning Online system.
• Start Class: Click to start recording.
• End Class: Click to stop recording.

PTZ Control Panel

Provides options for direction control, movement speed (Speed), zoom in/out (Zoom), preset points, and tracking mode.

Frequently Asked Questions (Q&A)

Question 1: What is the format of the recorded video?

Answer: The SES One software records videos in the publicly standard MKV format. This format supports subsequent editing and merging operations.

Question 2: Why does a new file get created every 30 minutes?

Answer: In the SES One Trial Version, a new file is automatically created every 30 minutes during the recording process. If you wish to generate only one recording file for the entire class session, it is recommended to upgrade to the SES One Licensed Version, which generates one file every 4 hours.

Question 3: How do I set up network sharing for the SES One recording folder?

Answer: Please follow these steps to configure network sharing for the SES One recording folder:

1. Adjust Windows Network Sharing Settings:

   • Open "Control Panel" -> "Network and Internet" -> "Network and Sharing Center" -> "Change advanced sharing settings."
   • Enable "Network discovery."
   • Enable "File and printer sharing."
   • Turn off "Password protected sharing."

2. Enable Guest Account:

   • Open "Control Panel" -> "User Accounts" -> "Manage another account."
   • Click on "Guest account" and enable the Guest account.

3. Set Up Shared Access:

   • Right-click on the recording folder (e.g., Video directory), select "Share with" -> "Specific people."
   • Choose "Everyone" and "Guest," then click "Add." After completion, the permission level will be displayed as "Read."
   • Click "Share" to ensure the folder is shared.

4. Check Network Sharing:

   • Press "Windows Key + R" to open the "Run" window, type \\computer IP address, and press "Enter."
   • If set up correctly, you should see the "Video" shared folder in the network directory.

Question 4: What should I do if the serial number shows “Program version exceeds the serial number update deadline, unable to activate”?

Answer: If the software installation displays the message “Program version exceeds the serial number update deadline” and the serial number cannot be registered, this usually indicates that your software version has exceeded the serial number's update service warranty period. Question 5: How do I transfer the software serial number to another computer?

Answer: Each software serial number is limited to activation on one computer. To transfer the serial number to another computer, please first perform the de-registration function. Follow these steps:

1. In the program interface, click on "About" in the top menu.
2. Select "De-register," and after completion, the original serial number can be entered on the new computer to activate it.
